"Sin miedo o con miedo... ¡Hay que hacerlo!"
Karina Corral es una mujer mexicana cuya historia es un reflejo de valentía, adaptación y propósito. A los 15 años llega a Colorado, Estados Unidos, impulsada por el deseo de aprender un nuevo idioma y construir un futuro mejor. Mientras se adapta a una nueva cultura, comienza a trabajar al mismo tiempo que culmina sus estudios de secundaria, sembrando desde muy joven una ética de esfuerzo y resiliencia.
Su camino la lleva por California, y posteriormente regresa a México para realizar una carrera profesional. Al finalizar sus estudios, decide volver a Colorado en busca de nuevas oportunidades. Allí es acogida por una familia vinculada a una oficina de seguros; aunque no era el rumbo que inicialmente imaginaba, esa experiencia marcaría profundamente su desarrollo profesional.
Tras pasar por diversos trabajos y adquirir una visión clara de su propósito, Karina —junto a su hermana y socias— da un paso decisivo y funda Chepe Insurance and Services. Su motivación siempre fue clara: ejercer un oficio que le permitiera conectar, orientar y apoyar a la comunidad, especialmente a los inmigrantes que llegan al país sin conocer cómo gestionar seguros y taxes.

Karina Corral is a Mexican woman whose story reflects courage, adaptation, and purpose. At age 15, she arrived in Colorado, United States, driven by the desire to learn a new language and build a better future. While adapting to a new culture, she began working while completing her high school studies, instilling in herself from a young age an ethic of hard work and resilience.
Her path took her to California, and she later returned to Mexico to pursue a professional career. After completing her studies, she decided to return to Colorado in search of new opportunities. There, she was welcomed by a family connected to an insurance office; although it was not the path she had initially imagined, that experience would profoundly mark her professional development.
After working in various jobs and gaining a clear vision of her purpose, Karina—together with her sister and partners—took a decisive step and founded Chepe Insurance and Services. Her motivation was always clear: to pursue a career that would allow her to connect with, guide, and support the community, especially immigrants who arrive in the country without knowing how to manage insurance and taxes.
In this episode of Desde La Cima, Karina reminds us of the importance of following our dreams, overcoming obstacles, and understanding that insuring ourselves in life is also a way of protecting those we love.
